In 1996 Edward M. Turpin M.D., relocated from a sleep medicine practice in Bethesda, Maryland to establish the Alabama Sleep Clinic in North Alabama. The primary goals of this specialty medical practice have been and continue to be the promotion of sleep disorders awareness while providing the highest quality evaluation, treatment and aftercare for individuals affected by these conditions.

Since it was founded the Alabama Sleep Clinic has grown to become the largest sleep medicine practice in North Alabama
with offices in Huntsville and Decatur.
